Fee Schedule

Pittsburgh and immediate suburbs: $1500
Chicago and immediate suburbs: $1500
Nemacolin, Bedford Springs: $2000
Greenbrier, West Virginia: $2000
Chautauqua Institution: $2000
Other locations in United States: $2500 per day with a three day minimum
Canada, Alaska and Hawaii: $7500 in addition to travel expenses and three nights hotel.
International destinations excluding Canada: $10000 in addition to travel expenses outlined above and three night's hotel.

What's included

As your officiant and rabbi, this is what you can expect from me.

Three one hour meetings. If you are in Pittsburgh or Chicago, I would love to meet you in person. These meetings are for planning your special day and to talk about what to expect on the actual wedding day. If you are not in Pittsburgh or Chicago or are simply too busy to meet in person, the meetings will take place via Zoom. If three hours isn't sufficient, I am happy to spend more time with you. I want your wedding to be absolutely amazing. If this means spending more time together, let's do it.
A document signing ceremony for the wedding party and immediate family. This is a ketubah and marriage license for Jewish ceremonies. For interfaith ceremonies, the document is a marriage license.
A phone meeting approximately a week before the wedding to finalize details, ease any worries and reassure you that your wedding day is going to be absolutely wonderful.
A custom tailored and authentic wedding ceremony of which both your beloved Bubby and your mother-in-law will be proud. And of course, a wedding ceremony that you'll fondly remember.

If you would like the me to attend the rehearsal ceremony, an additional fee of $500 is required.

Bride & Groom

The bride and groom are responsible for the following expenses.

Rabbinical fee
Marriage license fee. Legally, I cannot officiate a wedding ceremony without a state issued marriage license.
Travel expenses. For weddings in Chicago, the North Shore of Chicago and in Pittsburgh, there are no additional fees. If the ceremony outside of Pittsburgh or Chicago, the bride and groom will provide a minimum of one night's hotel. For weddings at locations not listed on the fee schedule, including destination weddings, the bride and groom will be pay for all related travel expenses. For this purpose, travel expenses should be understood to include: airfare in main cabin plus, economy plus or a similar equivalent, ground transportation to and from the home airport, ground transportation to and from the venue, hotels and meals. Required hotel is a minimum four star business, resort or luxury hotel.

Policies

The wedding must be paid in full thirty days prior to your wedding date.

50% of the fee is required to secure the date. This fee is non-refundable.

The remaining 50% is due no later than thirty days prior to the wedding date. This fee is also non-refundable.

In addition to cash payment, I accept Paypal, Zelle and Venmo.

A $200 fee will be assessed for all date changes.

Kindly note that, even if we've had an initial phone call discussing your wedding, a date cannot be held without 50% of the fee and a signed contract.

Confirmation that you have reviewed the fee schedule and understand that my officiation fee begins at $1500

Because the rabbi-couple relationship is built upon trust, privacy and direct communication, I ask that all initial inquiries come from the couple. I do not discuss prospective weddings with parents, relatives, wedding planners or other third parties.
